Broadview Energy is seeking to build six wind turbines on farmland east of the M5 about 1km south of Rooksbridge. The current proposal is for six turbines each with a height of 140m to the tip of the blades. The company has been consulting on their proposals and has offered community benefits. The response has been mixed ranging from some people objecting to any development that impacts adversely on residents to others accepting that the proposal would make a positive contribution to renewable energy. This range of views was reflected at a recent meeting of the Allerton Environmental Group.
